  • This section defines our policy for responding to user requests for data deletion captured or stored by Hero Cycles website over their journey. This explains the rights of the users in relation to data deletion and the responsibilities of Hero Cycles in responding with such a request

  • What information does Hero Cycles retain? Hero Cycles website stores data of individuals in order to fulfil orders and requests in connection to the website. We retain the name, e-mail address, gender, and any other necessary information shared by the user which is subsequently stored in our servers. This information is stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If the user allows, personal data (including the above, plus address, telephone number etc) may be stored in our CRM system for the purposes of contacting you regarding news, new launches and promotions related to Hero Cycles
  • How can a user request data deletion? In case you want us to stop storing and processing your information collected by us, then you can send communication to [email protected]. A registered user of Hero Cycles website can also delete their data directly from their account. For other requests, the team will act upon receiving requests from the user and delete all the stored data pertaining to the specific user. This data is deleted from the system and cannot be recovered by any users or Hero Cycles employees after this point. Sufficient warning is given to the account administrator before data is permanently deleted. Data may still remain in the systems back-up files, which will be deleted periodically. We undertake to perform the deletion within 45 working days and will send you a confirmation once the information has been deleted. Wherever possible, we will aim to complete the request in advance of the deadline.
